Transgressions.
Friday, March 14 – 10:30pm-2:00am
Currier Treehouse
No entrance fee
BGLTSA’s throwing a party to celebrate Transcendence, a week dedicated to transgendered issues critical to everyone in and out of the queer community.  More information will be made available on all the exciting events of the week, but in the meantime…
Have your say!  Tell us how you think the music should break down.  Techno?  Britney?  Sean Paul?  Portuguese rap?  Send along song requests, or better yet, songs (to ensure that we’ll have them for the party).
Send along all requests, info, and questions to Marco (mchan@fas) or to (oyeniyi@fas).  Now go peruse that collection!
Mado Lamotte
PS – got some images relevant to the transgendered theme of Transcendence that YOU think we should use for our advertising?  Got ideas?  Send ‘em over!  Our publicity chair, Brandon (bperkov@fas) would love to hear from you.

On the Downlow

This Sunday, come learn about and discuss issues in the black community at Harvard and beyond that are RELEVANT and REAL, whether or not people choose to keep them SILENT and SECONDARY.

The Harvard Black Students Association and the LGBT Political Coalition invite you to:

ON THE DOWNLOW: DINNER & A MOVIE
SOCH Cinema
6pm, Sunday, Feb. 24th

Two documentaries by filmmaker Abigail Child will be screened. More information below:

On the Downlow is an intimate portrait of four men negotiating their bisexual desire within the African-American community of Cleveland, Ohio. The Party, also based in Cleveland, bravely leads viewers into the barely understood homosexual social scene.

All sets of beliefs are welcome to come to this important discussion. We hope to see you there.
